Club at Windermere

A member-owned club for the residents of Windermere Island, The Club offers gracious dining in a casually chic dining room from mid-November through mid-May. Club facilities include a game room, TV room, and lending library. In addition, a large pool and two tennis courts are available to members year-round.

The Club is run by Chef/Manager Philip P. Smith. A proud Exuma descendent, the Cordon Bleu-trained Philip is the former Executive Chef of Compass Point in Nassau.  His casual yet sophisticated cuisine, grounded in the classic Italian and French styles, takes full advantage of the abundant local fish and foodstuffs of the islands.

During peak periods, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room, and other activities, such as pool-side buffets and West Beach barbeques, frequently with live entertainment, are held. (Club members can log into the Homeowner's Area for a current schedule.)
